9 Hints on How to Find Paid Blogging Jobs

It’s not that finding a blogging job is hard – it is actually very easy. However, if you want to start earning decent money with the help of blogging, that’s where the real challenge starts. While there are so many blogging jobs online, not all of them pay enough for you to make a living.

So how to find well-paying blogging opportunities? Well, you need to look for them in the right places. That’s why I want to offer you a list of websites where you can find amazing jobs for bloggers.

    Google

It’s one of the simplest ways to find a job. You can search for your topic of interested, adding a “write for us” keyword and check out the results the engine will show you. You can also try using your own keywords like “how to contribute” or “how to submit” and see where it takes you.

Such option is great not only when you’re looking for a paid blogging jobs but also when you want to find websites that accept guest posts (which would be especially beneficial for beginner bloggers).

    Twitter

While a job search isn’t Twitter’s specialty, you can still find decent blogging opportunities there. Use hashtags like #bloggingjobs to do so or try typing “blogging jobs” into the search box. Moreover, you can follow companies you’re interested in on Twitter: most of them write about their open vacancies as soon as they appear, so this could be a good way to try landing the job of your dreams.

    LinkedIn

Being a business social media, LinkedIn is great for finding all kinds of jobs – including blogging ones. Try creating a profile there (in case you don’t have one already) and making it look amazing. This way you’ll be able to not only check the latest jobs posted on LinkedIn but also to receive job offers directly.

    Your own blog

If you are a popular blogger, you can use your own blog to find new clients. Just mention that you are open for job offers and see if someone would like to work with you.

Moreover, you are also able to use your blog as a portfolio while looking for blogging jobs. For example, some bloggers offer their services to well-known online magazines, showing their blogs as a sample – and some magazines do say yes to them.

    Freelance

Sure, not all freelance writing jobs pay off well enough – however, you are still able to find some decent ones on freelance websites. You can check websites like Upwork or Fiverr or look for more specific blogging opportunities: for example, consider working with a CV writing services.

    Blogging websites

While most of the websites mentioned above are global freelancing ones, there are some that are designed especially for bloggers. It’s easier to find a suitable job on one of these platforms – moreover, they are usually better paid too. If you are interested, check out websites like ProBlogger or Bloggingpro.

    Paid guest posting

Guest posting is very important for blog promotion – but it could also become your source of income too. Some websites not simply accept guest posts: they are willing to pay for them too if the posts are valuable. So if you are experienced enough, you should consider this option too. Such jobs are easy to find – I’ve described how you can do it in the point 1 of this list.

    Your current clients

Why searching for new clients when you can work with existing ones? Maybe your clients could give you more work or contact you with some of their colleagues who need a well-qualified blogger?

Even if you don’t offer your blogging services to any of your clients at the moment, it’s still okay to try. After all, if your clients don’t need anyone to run their blogs right now, this could change later.

    Job listings

This is one of the most convenient options – use the list of the perfect blogging opportunities that someone has already made for you instead of searching for them on the other websites. For example, check out this list created by Funds For Writers: it is updated regularly and offers you some nice blogging jobs.

Yes, finding a decent blogging opportunity truly isn’t easy – but only when you don’t know where to look. I hope that this list will help you solve this problem and you’ll always know where to look for blogging jobs.
